Clinical Therapist- Excellent learning environment with great opportunities

We are looking for part or full time Masters Level therapists to join our team of caring and competent professionals. The qualified therapist will provide services to adults, children, and youth experiencing moderate to severe social/ emotional issues or trauma. The therapist will assess, diagnose, complete a treatment plan and provide individual, collateral and group therapy in compliance with documentation standards of the profession. 


This position requires an active California BBS registration in good standing for ACSW, AMFT, APCC or license for MFT, LCSW, or LPCC. The candidate must also be able to successfully pass credentialing verification within the first 2 weeks of employment, complete a successful background and criminal clearance, have proof of a valid California Drivers License and have reliable transportation.

Starting salary: $36.00 per hour of treatment time, plus additional compensation depending on experience. Additional $2.00 differential for Spanish speaking therapist.

Masters Level Therapist

Full time and Part time positions available for Masters Level Therapists, with an active California BBS registration or license for LMFT, AMFT, LCSW, ACSW, LPCC or APCC. Starting salary: $22.00+ per hour (DOE) for Associates and $28.00 per hour (DOE). Plus an additional differential for Spanish speaking therapist. 


We are currently seeking Masters Level therapists to join our team of caring and competent professionals. The qualified therapist will provide services to children and youth experiencing moderate to severe social/emotional issues or trauma, in their homes, schools, safe community settings or our office, depending on the family’s need and choice. The therapist will assess, diagnose, complete a treatment plan and provide individual, collateral and group therapy in compliance with California Medi-Cal documentation standards.  


This position requires an active California BBS registration in good standing for ACSW, AMFT, APCC or license for MFT, LCSW or LPCC. The candidate must also be able to successfully pass credentialing verification within the first 2 weeks of employment, complete a successful background and criminal clearance, have proof of a valid California Driver’s License and have reliable transportation.


Highly desired qualifications include:

  • Fluent in speaking and reading Spanish
  • Knowledge of or training in evidence based interventions and models including but not limited to Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, Triple P, TF-CBT, 40-Hour Domestic Violence Training
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and comply with performance expectations and work effectively with case managers
  • ​Experience working with youth and families from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds
  • Proficient writing skills to satisfy program documentation requirements
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and electronic health records
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed client service delivery goals

Paid Associate Training

Obtain hours towards licensure while benefiting from continuous training and support. Clinical Supervision following BBS guidelines. Training divided into a total of 8 modules, each 10 weeks long. Contact office for more information.


Training Modules:

Crisis Intervention, DMH Paperwork, Bi-Cultural Services, Client Engagement, Substance Use, Couples, Family Systems, How to start your own business

Orientation meetings:

August 9th 6-7:30pm

September 12th 12-1:30pm


ATP will expect commitment of 12 hours per week, in which you will have 2-3 hours of supervision, 2 hours of training, & 5 hours of client contact. You will get paid for every client you see.
